Arizona Cancer Charities and Arizona Cancer Charity Information
Arizona Wholesale Mortgage is committed to the fight against breast cancer, and will donate $200 from every loan that we fund to PlanetCancer.org-- our favorite cancer charity for personal reasons-- or any cancer charity of your choosing. We don't care which deserving charity gets it,
we just want to do our part.
We lost our own Branch Manager, Karen George, to the dreaded disease. So everyone at Arizona Wholesale Mortgage has a personal connection to this disease.
We noticed that we come up on page one of Google for the term "Arizona Cancer Charities." That was unintentional.
But since you may be looking for a list of Arizona Cancer Charities, and you happen to find us, we thought we'd be nice enough to put together a list for you:
We do not claim to list them all here, but we'll do our best.
First of all, you will probably find a Facebook page called Arizona Cancer Charities.I think this is probably the same thing as ArizonaCancerCharities.org.
However, Arizona Cancer Charities ".org" does not seem to be a charity in the sense that it is a non-profit company. When you think non-profit, you think "charity," right? And the other way around too... When somebody calls themself a charity, you assume it is a non-profit. Well, Arizona Cancer Charties says nothing about being a non-profit on their web page, on their "About Us"
page...nowhere. It is possible that they are a non-profit with horrible communication skills.
There is another business in Mesa, AZ that calls themselves a charity-- They are called The Breast Cancer Society, Inc. and on their About Us page they describe themselves as a charity, but again, absolutely no usage of the word non-profit.
I am not saying that a for-profit company can't do good for cancer. In fact, The Breast Cancer Society, Inc. of Mesa, Arizona could be doing more for cancer than the Komen Foundation, for all I know.
But I have started and ran a non-profit corporation myself. It's no more difficult than running a for-profit company. So why not organize your Arizona "Charity" as a non-profit? I have no idea. Because they want to make lots of money?
The Arizona Myeloma Network is a real Arizona non-profit cancer charity.
The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Arizona is a real non-profit Arizona cancer charity.
Knots of Love is a really cool cancer non-profit charity. They are not based in Arizona, but they donate caps to cancer patients in Arizona. They work with the Arizona Cancer Center (see below)
The International Cancer Advocacy Network is an international non-profit cancer charity. However, they are based in Phoenix, AZ, so we thought we would mention them here.
This is cool. Coaches Night Out, from The Arizona Cancer Center (a real non-profit Arizona cancer charity), sponsored by the Bank of Tucson. Thank you so much Bank of Tucson, but we are still going to beat your mortgage rates every time. But if you need a mortgage in Tucson, and for some crazy reason you don't want to use Arizona Wholesale Mortgage and get a better rate, than please use the Bank of Tucson. They do good for the community.
Here is a list of Arizona Charities from the online Yellow Pages. Unfortunately, there is no way to search for "Arizona Cancer Charities." Not a very useful search feature on this site, unfortunately.
