The lender- us- is protected if the borrower fails to repay the VA Home Loan. No down payment is required on a VA loans and the borrower can usually get qualified even with bad credit! Again, this is because the VA is protecting the borrower if they default or foreclose.
This makes lenders very eager to give out VA home loans!
